Event: International Women’s Day at MCA

Have no plans for International Women’s Day next week? Why not celebrate women artists at the Museum of Contemporary Art?

International Women’s Day at MCA is a day of talks and tour, featuring the work of women artists in the MCA Collection.

Highlights include the Naturist Tour, a nude viewing of art led by MCA director Gill Nicol – open only to people who identify as women.

Speakers from the museum include: Emily McDaniel, lead artist educator; Tristan Deratz, digital content producer; Claire Hastwell, digital marketing coordinator; and Megan Robson, assistant curator. These speakers will discuss Australian art and artists such as Nell, Justene Williams and more.
